Lesson 3.6
Antiderivatives
and Differential Equations
|
What this
lesson is about
Many important equations
in mathematics and its applications contain derivatives, and can be solved by
"undoing" the derivatives. In this lesson, you will learn to
- define an antiderivative
and verify that one function is the antiderivative of another
- translate statements
about rates of change into differential equations or initial value problems
and vice versa
- verify that a given function
is a solution to a differential equation or initial value problem
This lesson should take
you P - Q hours to complete.
